August 5th 2012 - Myself and a handful of other Queensland screenwriters were treated, courtesy of Screen Queensland, to a networking event with producers at 37 Degrees South, as part of MIFF (Melbourne International Film Festival). It was exhausting but a great experience - I pitched to seven producers and came away with requests to read eight scripts in total. Fingers, toes and all other extremities crossed some of my hard work is going to result in some films getting made very soon!
